TEAM VELVET HORSE MENTAL HEALTH THERAPY EXHIBITION July 17, 2011 12 Noon till 2:00 p.m. at Lord Stirling Stables Indoor Arena 256 S. Maple Ave. Basking Ridge, NJ 07920 Susan Edwards, Ph.D. will be doing an overview of the therapy program that uses Velvet a Trakehner gelding. The demonstrations will include Marnie Macieborski riding Velvet using a bitless bridle and Velvet kicking a soccer ball to Shashunk Raja, a Junior Trainer. Explanation of equine assisted mental health will be discussed and the program will conclude with the chance for participation by youngsters in the audience.
